Safe Disposal of Redundant Refrigeration Appliances

Williams Refrigeration is pleased to offer a fully licensed safe disposal service for your end of life redundant refrigeration appliances.

Our standard uplift and safe disposal service is subject to:-
• The redundant appliance being presented ready for kerbside uplift in an appropriate ground floor, clear access receiving area or despatch bay.
• Redundant appliance(s) must be presented ready to load at the time of the Williams designated transport providers arrival:-
1) Empty of any contents and food debris.
2) Located on its castors or legs and presented in a stable safe condition for straightforward loading.

Williams Refrigeration is able to offer an additional service to remove redundant appliance(s) from the kitchen or other similar location. Additional charges will apply and these costs will be subject to the customer providing the following details and / or a site survey being carried out:-

• Prior to collection the appliance should be safely disconnected from the power supply, any service connections (e.g. drain lines / water connections) and empty of any contents and food debris.

• Appliance type and dimensions:-
•  Is the appliance mounted on legs or castors?
•  Dimensions are essential so we can ensure a safe and trouble free removal of the appliance.

• Details of specific site access restrictions of any kind. These may include:-
•  Low or narrow doorways / corridors.
•  Steps or slopes which may prevent the safe manoeuvring of the appliance. Stairway restrictions may also apply, a site survey may be required.
•  Any limitations to times of day for access.
•  Any parking restrictions.

Prior to the uplift of the appliance we also recommend that you consider removal of any asset tags or other details which may be specific to your business.
Please do not remove the appliance data plate.

A certificate to confirm the safe disposal by our licensed waste service provider is available upon request.

Should the collection be aborted or we are unable to complete the collection for any reason, we will need to pass on the cost for our attendance. This will be charged at £190 per appliance.
