Being a sustainable business is important. That’s why we’re committed in showing how a leading refrigeration manufacturer is tackling sustainability targets through our latest Greenlogic initiative.
Greenlogic covers every aspect of our operation, from product design to sourcing raw materials and components, to manufacturing and plant, to transport and distribution.
A key part of Greenlogic is to inform and offer advice to customers and business partners about how Williams is meeting environmental targets. We’ve set out details of green activities, plans and objectives in the Greenlogic guide, which is available to download here.
“There is huge interest in sustainability and climate change in the hospitality market right now,” says Malcolm Harling, sales and marketing director at Williams. “Operators and dealers are asking about manufacturers’ green credentials, they want to understand the science behind the statistics. Our Greenlogic initiative is designed to give them those answers and demonstrate how responsible manufacturing can help meet their own environmental commitments.”
The Williams Greenlogic Guide offers a comprehensive insight that focuses on the initiative’s three core areas: product, plant and processes. It also delves into current regulations and legislation, including F gas and energy labelling, and offers an indication of our plans for the future.
“Greenlogic is integral to our Corporate Social Responsibility policies,” added Harling. “It’s our commitment to supplying the most energy efficient and sustainable refrigeration possible.”

Williams has a history of working for a greener future – way back in the 1980s we were the first foodservice refrigeration manufacturer to use CFC-free insulation. Find out more about our sustainable timeline and download the Greenlogic guide.
